This website is operated by Liane Debono Gatt (“I”, “me”, “my”). I am committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in a fair, lawful and transparent manner.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data I collect through this website, how I use it, and your rights in relation to your personal data.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or about how your personal data is handled, you may contact me using the details above.

2. What personal data I collect

I may collect and process the following personal data through this website:

  •  your name
  •  your email address
  •  your telephone number, if provided
  •  your company name, if provided
  •  the contents of your message or enquiry
  •  technical information relating to your use of the website, such as IP address, browser type, device information and cookie preferences
  •  analytics data, where enabled and where you have given consent where required.

3. How I collect your data

I collect personal data when:

  •  you complete and submit the contact form on this website
  •  you contact me directly by email or other contact method shown on the site
  •  you browse the website
  •  you accept optional cookies or analytics tools, where these are in use.

4. Why I use your personal data

I may use your personal data for the following purposes:

  •  to respond to your enquiry
  •  to communicate with you about potential services or collaboration
  •  to manage and protect this website
  •  to improve website performance and user experience
  •  to comply with legal or regulatory obligations
  •  to establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary

5. Legal bases for processing

Under the GDPR, I rely on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests — to respond to business enquiries, manage communications, operate the website and protect the website and my business.
  • Steps prior to entering into a contract — where you contact me about services you may wish to engage me for.
  • Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law.
  • Consent — where required, for example in relation to non-essential cookies or optional analytics tools.

6. Who I share your data with

I do not sell your personal data.

I may share personal data only where necessary with service providers I use to operate this website and my business. Depending on the tools in use at the relevant time, these may include:

  • Jimdo for website hosting, site management and website forms,
  • Google Analytics for website analytics, where enabled and where you have consented where required,
  • Calendly for scheduling calls or meetings, if used,
  • [CRM Provider] for enquiry and contact management if used,

  • professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers, where necessary

Where those providers process personal data on my behalf, they do so subject to appropriate contractual and data protection safeguards.

7. International transfers

Some of my service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, I seek to ensure that an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism is in place, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, where required.

8. How long I keep your data

I keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. As a general approach, I retain contact enquiries for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is necessary to establish a business relationship, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. If an enquiry becomes a client relationship, relevant personal data may be retained for the duration of the engagement and for the period required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance.

9. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you may have the right to:

  •  request access to your personal data
